No one has time anymore. At least that’s what we tell ourselves. But that’s not the case for this year’s UPS Casey Community Service award winner, Terry Brown. In addition to his full-time work as an area UPS human resource manager in Omaha, Neb., Terry and his family have dedicated their lives – and any spare time – to making a positive impact on their community. More than 60 hours a month, they work with organizations in their community, helping those who have nowhere else to turn.
Every year, the Jim Casey Community Service Award winner is chosen from nominations solicited from UPS’s global workforce of more than 400,000 employees. The Casey Award was created to recognize outstanding community service, a hallmark of UPS’s corporate legacy and commitment to social responsibility.
Here is Terry’s story.
