The Art of Logistics: And the Winners Are…
Category: Logistics

Some made us laugh while others made us cry. There were even those that made us laugh so hard, we cried. The lyrics touched us, the visuals moved us and the overall artistry simply wow’d us.

From 23 countries around the world, UPSers submitted 145 entries into the Art of Logistics contest. After a panel of judges selected the top two from each of the contest categories, UPSers made the final choice for who should take home the top honors. We thought the art was too good not to share.

BEST AUDIO RECORDING

Package car driver Jeffrey Oakley for his song “We Love Logistics.”

The baseline in this song will keep your head bobbing and your toes tapping while the lyrics keep you humming along as they explain perfectly what logistics is and that we love it.

BEST VISUAL ART

Peter Borovsky for his drawing “We Make the World Go Round.”

Human Resources Supervisor

When you first see this drawing, you notice the UPS shield. But at closer inspection you realize it’s all the individual UPSers that really make the brand what it is.

BEST LITERARY WORK

Package sorter David Smith for his poem “We ♥ Logistics.”

This poem uses fun and whimsical rhymes to demonstrate our global reach, our technology tools, and the power of our people.

BEST VIDEO/MULTIMEDIA

Package car driver Amaury Moreno for his video “Simplemente Llegamos.”

In this moving video, we see that no matter how remote, no matter what obstacles, we do what we do because people need us to — and that’s logistics.
