One More Thing to Register for If You’re Getting Married or Having a Baby

Over the last few months, I’ve been to three weddings and two baby showers. It’s an exciting time in the lives of my friends, but it’s hectic as well with all the last minute details to finalize and packages coming to the house, especially as the wedding date/due date nears.

While UPS can’t help finalize last minute details, we can help manage all those packages. With UPS My Choice you’ll no longer need to keep up with tracking numbers – we’ll  do it for you. The day before delivery, you’ll get one alert with information on all the packages that are set to arrive the next day. We’ll even send you a four hour approximate delivery window when possible.

My Choice also lets you electronically authorize the release of any package that requires a signature in case you can’t be there to sign for it. When you need to change something about the delivery, we offer options that give you added flexibility to manage these deliveries around your schedule – you can have it held for will call, reschedule the delivery, or have it delivered to another address.

Worried about those wedding presents that are set to arrive while you’re on your honeymoon? Or gifts for the baby while you’re at the hospital? With the vacation option, you tell us when you’ll be gone and we’ll hold all those packages for you and deliver them the day after you return! (Too bad we don’t write thank you notes or change diapers!)

Sign up for UPS My Choice, and get to focusing on more important things.

  1. That is a very good tip especially to those fresh to the blogosphere. Short but very precise information… Many thanks for sharing this one. A must read post!
