When thinking about women’s history month and what women have accomplished, I’m reminded of myself as a little girl playing with my grandfather’s cash register inside his store. When my family moved to the U.S., I found a new toy; a 10-key adding machine at my dad’s office. I helped prepare deposits from his newsletter subscription business. I’m just as excited today to use my own 10-key adding machine, tracking my own sales at The UPS Store®.
I am proud to say as an immigrant family, my family started seven different retail businesses over three generations. So, you could say retail and franchising are in my blood.
