Welcome to upside
Christmas is days away. Have you sent those gifts yet? Don’t worry — you’re not alone in procrastinating. That’s why your friends here at Compass have come up with a chart for the last shipping days to guarantee delivery by December 25, and it covers all of our services.
It’s hard to miss the many UPS trucks criss-crossing neighborhoods making holiday deliveries. Like a lot of people, I prefer to order Christmas gifts online. So paying attention to holiday shipping information is important to me. Even though Christmas is December 25th every year, somehow it seems to sneak up on me.
I’m Brad the Box – your UPS ambassador to help you have hassle-free holidays this year. You can find me on the @UPS Twitter page sharing some of my favorite tips and tweeting with my many followers – for a box, I’m popular!
UPS will have two more #HassleFreeHolidays Twitter parties on Tuesday, December 11th at 1 and 4 p.m. EST. Join @UPS to learn how you can enjoy hassle-free holiday shipping and the chance to win some tasty brownies from Fairytale Brownies. The experts at The UPS Store will be giving away gift cards and great shipping tips for the holidays.
And although I don’t have feet, I’ve heard you can find some great deals at Onlineshoes.com –they’re offering a great prize too.
With the craziness of Black Friday, the crowded mall parking lots and the seemingly endless wish lists, you’ve likely put a lot of time and effort into finding the perfect gifts for everyone on your list. You’ve fought the lines and stalked the sales, and now have the perfect gifts to show for your hard work!
But there’s still an important item left on your gift shopping list: getting the items to their new owners. This might be as simple as having Santa leave it under the tree, or you might need to help him with the legwork and ship them yourself. But don’t panic. Luckily, holiday shipping can be the easiest part of the whole process, with some tried-and-true wisdom:
It’s Cyber Monday and more people are predicted to shop online than ever before. Special offers and the ability to shop even after the malls are closed are just two of the reasons why I click and purchase.
But what about the shipping?
That’s where UPS lends its expertise to get those holiday gifts under the tree in time – and if the gifts you receive aren’t quite what you wanted, UPS provides many options to make returns easy and hassle-free, too.
The hectic shopping season is almost here and my friends and I have already started plotting how to find the best deals. UPS is working with Mompreneur bloggers and will share how to save time and money during our #HassleFreeHolidays Twitter party.
Join us @UPS on Wednesday, November 14th at 1 and 5 p.m. EST.
Here’s the top 10 list why you should join us.
It’s not quite Halloween but it’s already time to start thinking about the holidays.
I may not have my list for Santa ready, but here at UPS we’ve been planning our holiday logistics all year. We’ll add 55,000 extra brown-suited Santa helpers to help deliver more packages this year than ever – more than half a billion!
And, Thursday, December 20 – which is just 51 days away – will be the busiest day in our history when we’ll deliver more than 28 million packages – that’s more than 300 packages every second of the day.
